- POLYLID ™ - the complete range of of Seal-Peel Lidding Films
POLYLID ™ is a family of Peelable Lidding films designed for all packaging processes, for example MAP and sterilization, and provides excellent sealing performance on all kinds of containers including, glass and metal.
These lidding films consist of a seal layer, laminated to a heat resistant substrate.
The seal layer is a "PSP" - a special PE based mixture. The heat resistant substrate is typically a bi-oriented PET film; in cases where high oxygen barrier is required, the PET film will be replaced by a metalized PET.
When transparency and barrier are desired, the PSP will be laminated to PVDC coated PET.
